Yoga has taught me to love my body, and to want to move because it feels great - not because of any aesthetic goals or hidden agendas. The key to this?
- truly being in your body! Not trying to distract yourself when things get hard, but feeling into every single sensation.
Learning the traditional alignments and then creating space to explore how our bodies want to move is the name of the game.
I believe we should learn the ‘rules‘ so we know when it feels good to break them.
